Please note that due to the rapidly changing circumstances surrounding Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the Australian Government’s recommendation that all non-essential events with gatherings of 100+ people be suspended, SpecTex20 has been postponed.  
 
The health and safety of our exhibitors, attendees and staff is a priority for STA, as is delivering a successful industry event. With this in mind, we are currently working with all SpecTex20 providers – venues, booth builders, logistics, hotel, speakers, entertainers etc - to reschedule SpecTex for a time that will allow all to to participate and attend without the risk of spreading and contracting Coronavirus. We will be posting updates on this page as we make progress.

Accommodation for SpecTex20 has been negotiated with The Star Hotel for all attendees at the rate of $285 per night.  To book click here - be quick though, as this rate will only be available till end of April.

 

SpecTex20 program and registrations

The full program and online registrations to attend SpecTex20 will be opening mid March - to receive a notification plesae send us an email so tht we can let you know when you can register.

 

Marine Fabricator Workshop

SpecTex20 will also incorporate the annual Marine Fabricator Workshop which will run from Monday 1st to Tuesday
2nd June and overlap with the last day of SpecTex. This workshop will be purely targeted towards the Marine
devision of our industry.

Awards for Recognition 

Join us in celebration of those that work hard to stand out in the specialised textiles industry on the last night
of SpecTex20. The Awards for Recognition takes place during the Awards for Excellence Dinner and 
encompasses the Awards for Excellence, the Young Achievers Award and the Apprentice of the Year Awards.

Awards for Excellence 
The Specialised Textile Association recognises 15 project categories. We encourage businesses to
enter and showcase their technical skills, design excellence and innovation within the industry. Enter here

Young Achievers Award (YAA)
The purpose of YAA is to acknowledge, encourage and promote the positive achievements of young members
35 years of age and under. Please nominate your Young Achiever here.
