Terms and Conditions of Entry
The Awards for Recognition are open only to members of the Specialised Textiles with special consideration for the 2019 Awards for Excellence enabling members of BMAA to enter in category 6 and 7 in the Awards for Excellence only.
The Awards for Recognition encopass:
- Awards for Excellence
- Young Achiever Award
The following points list the General Terms and Conditions of entry into the Awards for Excellence:
Award project entries are to be submitted by the person/company who instigated the project or was the principal contractor who received payment for the project.
Joint entires are accepted and encouraged in cases where the entry being submitted is not instigated by the principal contractor, provided the entry is submitted in conjunction with a fabricator member of Specialised Textiles Association.
Any joint participants in an entry must be acknowledged in the entry form.
Each project entered in the 2019 Awards for Excellence must have been completed between 1 January 2018 and 8 April 2019.
Members may enter more than one project, however, each project shall be entered only once in any one category - with a maximum of 3 projects in any one category.
Entrants are encouraged to select a suitable category for their project, however, the judging panel reserves the right to re-classify an entry.
Projects being promoted will recognise suppliers of material, components and member fabricator businesses involved in the fabrication of the project (hould the fabrication not have been undertaken by the entrant).
The judges decision is final and no further correspondence will be accepted.
