In order to enter the Young Achiever Awards (YAA), eligible entrants must be nominated by their employer or supervisor
Nominees must be a member of STA or an employee of a member business
Entry into the YAA is free and open to all young men and women under the age of 35 as at 17th April 2017
The nominee’s date of birth lodged is required to be true and correct. Should this be otherwise, the nomination will automatically be disqualified.
Nominations may only be made on the official online nomination form located on the STA website.
Nominees can only be nominated once for the Young Achiever Award in any given year
Projects associated with the Young Achiever Award are able to be entered in the STA Annual Awards for Excellence and vice versa
Nominations/entries must be received prior to the closing date by midnight
Finalists are required to attend the Awards for Excellence Ceremonia Dinner
Entries become the property of Specialised Textiles Association and will be displayed at the annual trade exhibition and conference
All digital images of projects entered in the Young Achiever Award become property of Specialised Textiles Association and will not be returned to entrants. If your photo is copyrighted, you must include a letter of permission allowing Specialised Textiles Association to display and use the image and required photo credit information
Winner photos and information will be published in Connections Magazine and used in promotional material
Specialised Textiles Association assumes no responsibility for output quality of entry and as such encourages the supply of high wuality images
All photographs submitted will become the property of Specialised Textiles Association
Special Commendation Certificates may be awarded to outstanding entries other than winning entries
The judging panel may decide not to grant an award should it be deemed that entries do not meet a standard worthy of recognition by an Award
The judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into
